Field Guide on Community-Led Design

This is a Justice By Design field guide for court administrators, judges, and other service-providers to engage more members of the public in innovation work to increase access to justice.

This Justice by Design Field Guide offers court leaders with concrete things to do, to get more community members involved in innovation within the justice system.

This includes how to run creative brainstorming sessions with both justice system leaders & members of the public, that involve drawing, mapping, sorting, and brainstorming around improvements to court. It also includes how to run testing and feedback sessions, that don’t just get ratings of court services — but that also lead to creative suggestions from the public about what to change.
