What good are rights if people don’t know what they are? And especially if they don’t know how to use them when they encounter the police, the FBI, or other government agents?
We’re exploring new ways to help lay people understand & use their legal rights. And we’re ready to prototype and pilot some promising models of ‘Know Your Rights’ initiatives.
On Thursday, Feb. 19th, we’ll be holding a design sprint for lawyers, designers, activists, and interested people who want to work on Redesigning Know Your Rights.
We invite you now to Save the Date & to RSVP here if you’re interested in attending. Then we will get back to you with the time & location.
Also, see the results here at your Legal Communication Design site, in which we’re cataloguing good Know Your Rights communication design patterns.
