Below is the syllabus from the Legal Technology & Informatics Class that Ron Dolin taught at Stanford Law School in the Fall of 2012.
Several positive collaborations with students and entrepreneurs have come out of this course, including Ron’s work with Margaret Hagan and the Program for Legal Technology and Design. The syllabus contains key concepts covered in each class and poses valuable questions for discussion along with links to reading materials and resources.
We hope more law schools will begin to see the value of offering similar courses in legal technology as well as find ways to encourage collaborative environments for law students to interact with legal tech startups, entrepreneurs, and individuals, law firms, and companies that invest in innovation.
